Did we get a change to meet you at the 2009 conference?

 This was our first show with the AWBD and must say we had a great time! We had the opportunity to meet many new people and catch up with existing clients.

We consider the event a huge success for us as many district members came to us with specific problems for their locations curious as to how we would address those issues and ball-park pricing.

We believe everyone who stopped by walked away with valuable information on how to address their concerns or at least have an introductory view to security and monitoring systems.

Today's Integration reviewed many of the top "camera surveillance systems" over the past seven years by attending their demonstrations, training classes and purchasing their products for internal testing and evaluation. We considered many factors in evaluating the product lines; quality of the product, claims of performance, time in the industry, reputation of the product, review of independent studies, platforms compatibility with third party devices and training standards. The choice was clear only General Electric provided a proven and tested platform with the history and reputation necessary to be Today's Integrations' Surveillance System of choice.

 

There are many options out there, one of the key differences between GE and the others was the versatility of the platform. This platform has a wide range of devices and features that not only mesh together for a comprehensive video surveillance solution but also with GE's line of security and access control products. That gives you wider ranging features more accommodating to your budget without the narrow limitations of packages not necessarily addressing your specific situations.

 

If you are in the planning stages or construction has already begun now is the time to have a video surveillance and security systems professional review your plans, set up a site visit and discuss what you would like to get from your security and surveillance systems.

 

 

Even if you do not want to absorb the cost of all the bells and whistles now, if you have any intention on installing security in the future you want to assure you at least have all the wiring in place during construction to assure a cost saving and worry free installation and or upgrade later. A properly structured wiring system installed during construction can save you thousands later depending on the size of you project.

 

When selecting a platform like this if you are going to utilize the systems capabilities to include security, surveillance and/or access control remember... the company that installs the wiring, systems and programming MUST be licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety for security and access control if those systems are to be used. Please consider this when evaluating your proposals. This is done by the state for your protection. After all it is a security system!

No matter what options you choose make sure the company you choose is specifically trained by the manufacturer for the equipment they are providing. Industry training for general security systems is helpful but specific training on the equipment to be installed is mandatory for a smooth and trouble free process.
